Students at Altus Academy develop a keen sense of personal and community responsibility to understand and live according to natural law, objective Christian morality, and Truth. Students also learn to live a life exemplified by the valiant effort to know and live the human virtues and to create in common a "Culture of Character".

This is accomplished by teaching our students Christian Doctrine and the philosophical and theological foundations of the concept of natural law, the ten commandments, the beatitudes, and the corporal and spiritual works of mercy, as well as the basic principles of Catholic Social Doctrine; principle of the common good; principle of the universal destination of goods; subsidiarity principle; principle of participation; principle of solidarity and the fundamental values โ€‹โ€‹of truth, freedom, justice and love.
